THE KILL.
A remarkable scene, taken on the Rover Dove. The unfortunate otter has been overtaken and the hounds are tearing at it, crushing and biting it with their teeth. Otters usually put up a gallant
defence, and quite frequently one or more of the hounds emerge from this death struggle badly bitten. Reprinted from Hutchinson's Dog Encyclopaedia (England, circa 1935).
